 Do you ever look at your word count total for the year and think hmm... maybe I wrote too much? Because in about August last year I thought to myself 'I should try finishing all my wips', and that was bearing in mind I was part of a bingo and then signed up for several other exchanges after that in addition to the fics I'd started at the beginning of the year. And then... uuh, I did it? Somehow? Like, my total for the last year was 350,000 words, which is far too many tbh, and yet still not enough.

Ngl, I'm still a tiny bit shocked that I managed it (although, admittedly, a lot of it came from some of the fics not turning out to be as long as I thought they'd be, but ssssh I still did it) and I was totally meant to take a break from writing this week as a result (so naturally I'm already 600 words into a new fic).

Totally ignoring the sentence I started with, honestly I hope I can write even more this year. I have an absolute hoard of fic ideas written down (I'm estimating probably around 350) and I want to get as many of them written as is humanly possible, because they come to me faster than I can write them.
